TJ Maxx & Homegoods Return Policy-

What is your return policy?

Merchandise in new condition may be returned for a credit card refund within thirty days of purchase when accompanied by the original receipt/packing slip.

Can I return an order to a T.J. Maxx or HomeGoods store?

Merchandise in new condition may be returned to a HomeGoods or T.J. Maxx store for a credit card refund within thirty days of purchase when accompanied by the original receipt using the following guideline:
*Any home item purchased from a HomeGoods section of this site may be returned to any T.J. Maxx or HomeGoods store. A HomeGoods item is defined by the letters "HG" preceding the item number.
*Any clothing or accessory item purchased from a T.J. Maxx section of this site may only be returned to a T.J. Maxx store. A T.J. Maxx item is defined by the letters "TJ" preceding the item number.
Please note the following exceptions:

**Watches purchased online can only be returned by mail to our fulfillment center. Online watch purchases cannot be returned to stores. Dena Furs purchased online must be returned directly to Dena Furs in New York City, and they must be shipped and postmarked within 7 days of receipt. Online Dena Fur purchases cannot be returned to our stores or fulfillment center.

How do I return an order by mail?

Merchandise in new condition may be returned for a full credit card refund, minus shipping and handling costs, within thirty days of purchase when accompanied by the original packing slip. Customers returning merchandise received as gifts will receive merchandise credit.
Choose the appropriate "reason for return" code from the list of return codes on the receipt. Use the return label on the front of the receipt on your package. Merchandise returned to the fulfillment center is shipped at the customer’s expense. Pack up the merchandise you are returning, including the original receipt. Items purchased as part of a set must be returned as a set. Returns that are not accompanied by a receipt are not allowed. Place the return label from the packing slip to your package. Ship your return package using the carrier of your choice. For your protection, we recommend you insure your package against loss and request delivery confirmation.

What do I do if an order was received damaged?

We will refund items that were damaged in transit, and reimburse you for the tax and shipping. We will need you to send the item back to the T.J. Maxx and HomeGoods Returns Dept.

How long does it take before my charge card is credited on a mail return?

Our staff works hard to process returns as quickly as possible. Please allow 10 to 14 days after we receive the items to process your credit.

How do I return a watch I’ve bought online?

All watches can be returned by mail to our fulfillment center. Online watch purchases cannot be returned to stores.
Follow the steps below to ensure your watch return is accepted:
1. Choose the "reason for return" code from the list on your receipt.
2. Use the return label from your receipt.
3. Pack the watch you would like to return in its box including the original receipt.
4. Ship your return package using the carrier of your choice. For your protection, we recommend that you insure your package and request delivery confirmation. All returned merchandise is shipped at the customer’s expense.

How do I return a Dena Fur I’ve bought online?

Returns for Dena Furs must be shipped & postmarked within 7 days of receipt directly to Dena Furs in New York City. TJ Maxx cannot accept any fur returns at stores or the fulfillment center.
