Returns & Exchanges

Every item you receive from Janie and Jack should be perfect for the special baby in your life. If ever an item does not meet your highest expectations, please don't hesitate to return it at any time. We gladly accept returns or exchanges providing that the items have not been worn or washed. Simply follow the instructions below.

To make it convenient for gift recipients to return or exchange items purchased online, please select the "gift receipt" option when you check out. While your recipient won't be able to see the price you paid, they will be able to receive the appropriate credit should they choose to exchange or return an item. (All prices will be encoded on the gift receipt.)

In Shop Returns & Exchanges

Returns with an Original Sales Receipt
Bring the purchase receipt or entire packing slip to any Janie and Jack shop. Except for monogrammed and personalized items, merchandise may be exchanged or a refund will be issued in the original form of payment for price paid when returned within 60 days of purchase. A merchandise credit for the price paid will be issued for returns more than 60 days after the purchase date. A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt. Monogrammed and personalized items may not be returned or exchanged.

Returns with a Gift Receipt
Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit or merchandise exchange for the price paid.

Returns without a Receipt
Refunds over $5 will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit or merchandise exchange for the current selling price. Valid identification is required for all returns and exchanges without an original receipt or to receive or redeem a merchandise credit. Valid identification includes driver's license, military ID, state/province issued ID or passport.

Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits
Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits may be redeemed at any U.S. location for merchandise only, except to the extent required by law. Gift Cards and Merchandise Credits are valid in the country of issuance only. Lost, stolen, or damaged gift cards or merchandise credit cards may be replaced for the remaining balance upon presenting an original sale or gift receipt. Merchandise Credits are non transferable and may not be used online.


	Mail Returns

Merchandise purchased online may also be returned to Janie and Jack via mail. Simply complete the Return Mail Form (on the bottom half of the packing slip), including "Quantity Returned" and "Reason Code". Then place your merchandise and completed form in a box, secure it, and for returns shipped within the United States, affix the pre-paid postage label that came with the merchandise*. We will deduct a $4.95 fee for postage when the pre-paid postage label is used. If the label is used to return items from more than one order, the $4.95 return postage fee will be deducted from the return refund on each order. We will send you a receipt when a credit to your credit card or merchandise credit has been issued. We're sorry, but merchandise exchanges are only available at Janie and Jack shops.

Returns with an Original Sales Receipt
For returns postmarked within 60 days of the purchase date, a credit will be issued to the credit card used for the original purchase. A return/exchange or gift receipt does not serve as an original receipt. For returns postmarked greater than 60 days after the purchase date, a merchandise credit (redeemable in-shop only) will be sent to the shipping address on the original order.

Returns with a Gift Receipt
Refunds will be issued in the form of a merchandise credit (redeemable in-store only) and will be sent to the shipping address on the original order.

Returns without a Receipt
Merchandise may be returned if defective, or unwashed and unworn, to any location or through the mail, any time with or without a receipt. Monogrammed items may not be returned or exchanged. Returns without a receipt will receive a merchandise credit (redeemable in-store only) for the current selling price, and will be sent to the shipping address of the original order.

If you would like to use a carrier other than the US Postal Service, or if you are shipping your return from outside the United States, simply follow the instructions above and ship the merchandise being returned to the following address:

Price Adjustment Policy

We will offer a one-time price adjustment on any item within 7 days of initial purchase with original receipt. To receive a price adjustment for an online purchase, email us at orders@janieandjack.com, contact customer service at 1.877.449.8800 or send the entire packing slip to: Janie and Jack Online Shop, Attn: Price Adjustments, 2299 Kids Way, Dixon, CA 95620. Forms must be postmarked within 14 days of the order date noted on the packing slip. A credit will be processed on the credit card used for the original purchase. Online orders cannot receive price adjustments in our retail shops.
